Animal Activist Mentorship Program

Are you new to animal activism, and you're not sure where to start? Do you know what type of activism you want to do, but you need support to make it happen? Are you looking to connect with other like-minded animal activists in your community and beyond? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, Animal Activism Collective's FREE Mentorship Program is perfect for you!

Animal abusing industries have nearly everything on their side: money, political power, and the status quo. But we have something they do not. We have you! Our movement has shown time and time again that a small group of skilled activists can achieve significant change for animals through strategic action. The Animal Activism Mentorship Program will equip you with the skill, confidence, and strategy we need in our fight to achieve total liberation for all.

— Marissa Reynolds, Director of Education and Mentorship

Program Overview

Over the course of our three-month Animal Activist Mentor Program, you will meet one-on-one with an experienced animal rights activist mentor to identify and work towards your unique goals for activism. You will also receive support in identifying solutions to address any obstacles that have kept you from getting or staying active in the past.

Our mentors are experienced in different types of activism including pressure campaigning, protests, street outreach, legislative advocacy, content creation, social media activism, art as activism, and more! No matter your interests, we can help you find a mentor who can help you achieve your animal rights activism goals.

Mentees can expect to commit about 2-5 hours per week toward the mentee program, including regular meetings with their mentor as well as completing tasks related to their goals for activism.

What You'll Gain

Program graduates will gain activism experience, connect with a global network of animal activists, grow in their knowledge of veganism and industries that exploit animals, and build confidence and skills to more effectively take action for animals in the way(s) that best align with their interests, skills, and risk tolerance.

By the end of the program, new activists will have everything they need to organize their own actions or plug into local opportunities. The animals need you to be the best activist you can be, and we can help you get there!
