About AAC

Who is AAC?

Animal Activism Collective (AAC) is an organization dedicated to equipping aspiring activists with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to effectively fight for animals. We do this through our various programs that include our one-on-one mentorship program, our online educational content, our in-person events, and our grassroots campaigns training program.

Mission Statement

Animal Activism Collective (AAC) is dedicated to equipping aspiring activists with the skills, knowledge, experience, and community support, necessary to effectively fight for animals. We support and guide both new and experienced activists in discovering their strengths, fostering enduring and effective activism, and creating meaningful advancements for animal rights.

Vision

AAC's long-term vision is of an empowered, diverse, and sustained movement of animal rights advocates. We envision an animal rights community that is large in numbers, well-educated, strategically mobilized, deeply connected with other activists around the world, and who are capable of taking bold action and calculated risks that make a quantifiable impact for animals.

Values

AAC values diversity of tactics in effective, impactful activism. We recognize the importance of activist education and aim to be a top contributor of free educational resources to the animal rights community. AAC understands the importance of making activism and community accessible for everyone who wants to advocate for animals. This is why we have never charged for any of our resources or events, including our multi-day convergences. During our in-person activism events, we provide food, housing, and transportation to as many activists as our resources will allow.

AAC Policies for Collaborations

AAC often collaborates with other organizations and individuals to host in-person or online events. Each activist who participates in an AAC event must adhere to our policies.

How To Get Started

At the core of AAC is our one-on-one mentorship program. Mentees are paired with experienced and dedicated animal rights mentors to help them gain the knowledge, experience, skills, and confidence necessary to start advocating for animals.

What to expect:

Once you have gotten paired with your mentor, the 3-month long mentorship will begin.

Your mentor will help you recognize and work to overcome your obstacles. As well as assist you with setting and accomplishing animal rights goals.

Our mentors will help you to identify your existing skillset and how you can best use your existing skills to help the animals. Of course, they will also help to push you out of your comfort zone so you can grow to be the best animal advocate possible.
